Online Warranty Registration Terms & Condition
1. This warranty applies to each product purchase for domestic use in Malaysia from Fotostat Seri Murni Sdn Bhd's authorized dealers and resellers, whereby the product has been supplied by Fotostat Seri Murni Sdn Bhd.
2. Standard product warranty covers 12 months from the date of purchase or on-line registration, whichever is earlier subject to the condition that the aggregate number of prints at the time of claim shall not exceed the maximum print copies recommended by Fotostat Seri Murni Sdn Bhd for the product model being the subject matter of the claim.
3. On-line registration must be completed within 7 days from the purchase date otherwise Fotostat Seri Murni Sdn Bhd reserves its discretion to disclaim any warranty on the product.
4. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects/ defect caused by production process and defects arising from normal usage within the warranty period. The company or its authorized service dealers will at its option through telephone or otherwise without charge, repair or replace the defective components or parts of the product. Any parts removed for replacement under this warranty shall become the property of the company.
5. Ink and toner cartridges supplied by Fotostat Seri Murni Sdn Bhd. are warranted to be free from manufacturing defect. Replacement cartridge is provided only for claims due to manufacturing defects (not due to any fault of the buyer including but not limited to any abuse, misuse, accidental or unauthorized alteration from a period of three(3) months from the date of purchase.
6. On-site services only applicable for location in Malaysia and within 40km radius from Fotostat Seri Murni offices or point of purchase.
7. Response time for on-site services is on next business day and hours. Standard business days and hours for Fotostat Seri Murni Sdn Bhd is from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.15pm excluding state and public holidays.
8. Equipment warranty and on-site support will be given unless otherwise stated. Carry-in service is applicable in Fotostat Seri Murni Sdn Bhd's offices and point of purchase as an option for the customer.
9. Proof of purchase is required upon request.
Warranty exclusion.
This warranty does not cover the following circumstances:
a. Defect on accessory such as batteries, covers, ink cartridge, toner cartridge, etc due to improper usage (not in accordance to the operating instruction), tampered or altered; intentionally or unintentionally.
b. Defect due to improper testing, operation, demonstration, maintenance, installation, adjustment or any alteration or modification of any kind or integration with other products which affects its efficiency.
c. Wear and tear or scratch detected the on paper path compartment and related mechanism in the compartment.
d. Part damaged due to negligence, improper handling and/ or non-compliance with transportation instruction issued by Fotostat Seri Murni Sdn Bhd.
e. Defect due to disasters such fire, flood, and earthquake, or any other acts of God.
f. The maintenance and cleaning of products and the provision of software updates or upgrades.
